Arrival in Chengdu
Arrival in Chengdu, capital of province Sichuan, the home town of Panda. Picked up by the local guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Chengdu – Emeishan
In the morning leave for Mt. Emeishan, the main ritual place of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva (Puxian Pusa) and one of the four most celebrated Buddhist mountains in China. Upon arrival Emei, we commence the tour from Wannian Si (Temple of Long Life) to enjoy the famous carving of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra riding on his white elephant. Hike on the old stone steps descend via Qinying Pavilion (Clear Sounds Pavilion) to the One-Thread-Sky, and to the bus station at Wuxian Gang to get picked up to descend the mountain. Ou
Emeishan – Leshan – Zigong
After breakfast visit of Zigong Dinosaur Museum, which is one of the three biggest dinosaur museums in the world built on an archaeological site of dinosaur fossils. The museum stores nearly all species of dinosaurs living in Jurassic era. Afterwards visit of Zigong Salt Industry History Museum. In addition, we will take a short excursion to Shenhaijing, the earliest salt well on the planet dug by man power without any use of modern machinery. In the afternoon we leave for
Zigong – Lizhuang - Shunan Zhuhai
Today we will spend a whole day enjoying the beautiful Shunan Bamboo Sea. In the morning, visit of Wangyou Valley, and view Jiutian Waterfall. Afterwards we will visit the unique bamboo museum, Meeting Immortals Cave, Tianbao Stronghold (Hamlet), Seven Colors Waterfall and Qinglong Lake etc.
Shunan Zhuhai
After breakfast, transfer to Xingwen County to visit Shihaidongxiang, the Stone Forest including the large funnel, and Tianquan Cave etc.. Then drive to Longchang to visit the ancient stone towers and gates (the torii) before returning to Chengdu.
Shunan Zhuhai – Xinwen – Chengdu
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for home. End of the amazing tour.
